Tanger-Marrakech Desert 10 Days Tour

Day 1 : Tanger  « Arrival Morocco »

Upon arrival in Tangier, Depending arrive by ferry you will find  Our Moroccan driver ,Transfer to the hotel for Rest . Depend on the Arrival Time you will have a small Visist to Tanger, this bustling port city that was once the playground of international socialites, including writers, artists, musicians and politicians. (Paul Bowles). The city is a lively, cosmopolitan and historic Mediterranean where you get to explore number of museums and sites. Over night in the Hotel.

Day 2: Tanger / Rabat / Casablanca

In The Morning after Breakfast,Depart Towards Casablanca,we will stop to visit  rabat the capital politics of morocco ,and also overlooks the sea ,we will see the crenellated red ocher walls, more than 5 km long in total and built  in the period of ruling  the sultan yacoub el-mansour ,which give the city a very special character that distinguishes it. you will cross the medina and its souks ,more authentic than others because the products of shops have turned to local customers .than we visit the Kasbah of the odayas ,erected by a terrible tribe of  predators in the twelfth centry .then we visit Hassan tower ,where 4 facades are decorated different from each other,three in shades of pink and one in the gray because of the sea breeze ,the remains of the old mosque and the Mohamed 5 mausoleum next to the tower ,a masterpiece of Moroccan traditional architecture ,full of valuable materials from around the world and splendid  decorations .from there you will return to the new town to see the royal palace ,residence of king the merinide  dynasty ,Reach Casablanca For Dinner and Overnight .

Day 3: Casablanca / Meknes / Fes

In The Morning After a small  visit in the city, of Casablanca “the white city” the city begins with an orientation tour through the United Nations Square, the Place Mohammed V, Hassan II Mosque. As it is the second largest mosque in the world and indeed a beautiful work of art, it is one of the rare mosques opened to non-Muslims ,We Continue Towards Fes,we stop for Lunch in a nice Restaurant,we continue to visit  Meknes, one has a magnificent view of the Medina. The tour begins with a tour of the walls with monumental gates dating from the seventeenth century Berdaïne Bab, Bab Khemis. We continue exploring the city by the stables (Rua), attics (HERI), and Stud. Stop needed at the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail was for a long time the only mosque that non-Muslims could visit in Morocco. It then exits through the famous Bab Mansour El on the vast square Hedim. On the other side of the square, the Museum of Moroccan Art “Dar Jamai” offers a wide variety of handicrafts,we Reach Fes in the Afternoon for Dinner & Overnight .

Day 4: Fes / Ifran / Medilt / Erfoud / Merzouga

Depart  early from fez you will begin your ascent We pass through Ifrane, a winter ski resort in a totally un Moroccan style built by the French in the 1930’s to resemble a Swiss village;we visit the cedars forest in azrou you will see the monkeys , drive across the Middle Atlas Mountains. Most of the day will be spent winding your way through the beautiful forests, springs, jagged rock faces, and Berber villages as you cross the Atlas Mountains and begin to descend towards the Sahara Desert. Half way, you will stop for lunch in a nice traditional restaurant in the town of Midelt, famous for its fossils and rocks, then we  continue towards merzouga in the road we will stop in a panoramic views to see the  a huge oasis of palm Tree ,Reach Merzouga for Diner Overnight in The Hotel .

  • You will Have Also the opportunity  to Spend also the Night in a Berber Tent with the Camel or Camel Ride to see the sunset or sunrise  .

Day 5:Merzouga/Gorges Todra /Ouarzazate

After a special Berber breakfast, You’ll depart towards Ouarzazate,we to visit the village of rissani ,the first capital of alaouite dynasty “ruling now in morocco” you willvisit the principal monument including sijilmassa the old center of desert trade,and some Kasbahs “village fortify” including Kasbah oulad abed lahlim (knows also by alhambara the same as the palace in Granada ,spain ) more than 350 kasbahs around Rissani,also we visit ,mosulement of moulay ali charif (the founder of alaouite dynasty),musem of lfida and the  big market of the area ,then we continue traveling the rugged Road of a Thousand Kasbahs that rise up like turreted sand castles along this ancient caravan trading route.. The central region is one of the most exciting and romantic destinations of Morocco nestled along rich rivers, valleys, palmeries and burnished mud-brick homes ablaze in vibrant colour under the shelter of the blue desert sky. We’ll travel through the ziz Valley past dramatic escarpments and plunging gorges via Tinghir. We’ll stop for a lunch an walk in gorge todra we will continue to Ouarzazate passing through boumalne Dades and rose valley ,we reach Ouarzazate ,for diner and overnight .

Day 6:Ouarzazate / Ait ben haddou / Marrakech 

 

After breakfast we will visit the town of Ouarzazate,including  the Kasbah of Taourirt and the Atlas Studios movie studios, the largest and most famous of all Africa. From here we head to the Fint Oasis, near Ouarzazate.we stop in ait ben haddou  we will arrive in time of lunch. Here we can visit the famous Kasbah, declared UNESCO World Heritage and which was the scene of films like The Gladiator, Babel, Lawrence of Arabia,we coutinue passing through  the High Atlas and  the Tizi-n-Tichka pass, along a road that climbs from the plains up to 2260 m above sea level passing through small villages, small waterfalls, through the continuously changing landscape and colors of these beautiful mountains.We reach Marrakech in the afternoon .Diner and overnight .

Day 7: Marrakech “Guided Tour”

After breakfast, you will have full day tour to visit Marrakech. The visit will include: the Menara gardens, a magnificent pool surrounded by flowers, the Koutoubia Minaret, the Saadian Tombs, the museum of Dar Si Said with the best display of Berber arts and crafts, and the Bahia Palace…lunch will be in local restaurant, after that we walk through the colorful Souks of Marrakech. The day will concluded with a sunset drink overlooking the Jamaa El Fna square. Dinner and Overnight ,

Day 8:Marrakech / Essaouira

In the morning after breakfast  departure to Essaouira that is a quiet seaside town with a long beach, to enjoy this day-trip by eating fresh fish on the quayside. Today you will visit the perfect place to relax either on the beach or in a café on the square, or just watching the fishing boats coming in and out of the harbour.After lunch you will transferred to Marrakech, on the way back it is possible to stop at Argan oil co-operative to see how the Argan nuts from all the forests around Essaouira are converted into oils and soaps. Diner and Overnight in The Riad .

Day 9: Essaouira  / Marrakech

In the morning you will explore the Rest of Essaouira, depart towards Marrakech  the iPearl of the Southî, the kingdom’s beating heart. The city is symbolized by the liveliness of Djemaa el Fna square, the Koutoubia minaret. You will start an orientation tour until coming at Djemaa El Fna where you will be amazed by the dancers, snake-charmers and narrators. Dinner and overnight at your  Riad

 Day 10 : Marrakech

After breakfast Transfer to The Airport in Marrakech .
